Mr. Sunil Mittal, the innovator was born on 4th April, 1962 in Uttar Pradesh, India.

He is an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi and Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi; renowned institutions for imparting engineering education to its People in India. 

He was awarded a “Merit Certificate” and “Anwar Jamal Kidwai Medal” for securing ‘First Position in Order of Merit’ at completion of a four years degree course in Civil Engineering; by Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi in the year 1987.

He was awarded a Master degree in “Environmental Engineering and Management”; by Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in the year 2005.

The innovator, prior to opting voluntary retirement (at the age of about 52 years) has successfully worked for 28 years in a civic body, responsible for providing all civic amenities to the people living in Delhi.

At the time of retirement, the innovator was holding the post of Superintending Engineer (Civil); an Engineering post 3rd from top cadre.

Mr.Mittal, during his tenure service has been responsible for supervision of construction, maintenance of various civil structures and solid waste management in Delhi.
