Tail end problem in water distribution
Solution to Tail end problem through Pressure and Flow Control Valve
Mechanized spray gun is a need of hour, to perform various day to day functions besides irrigation i.e. sprays of water over plants. Presently, spray guns, which are available in the market have no arrangement for managing pressure and flow rate of water coming out at their downstream. Due to that such spray gun not only result in wastage of precious water and inconvenience to user; but also result in slush making etc.
To overcome from above drawbacks, we have developed a new spray gun, which will allow application of water like rain; without causing any erosion or slush effect to the soil beneath. At downstream of present gun, water pressure is almost zero.
This spray gun can be utilized to perform following activities:
In various mining activities, there is a need of water spray to keep excavated material moist/wet and also to check air pollution. If excavated material is allowed to dry, it may result in suspended particulate matter to come into air and move into lungs of workman concerned during breathing action and also may get deposited over their skin etc. Such activities result in closing of skin pores, pulmonary and carcinogenic diseases etc. in workers. Present spray gun, either used in hand (manually) or by installing at the back of a water tanker etc.; can easily be used to achieve such purpose, very efficiently.
To fulfil our daily needs we are required to undertake embankment related construction activities like while constructing roads, canal marginal-bunds etc. For that purpose, we are required to compact, consolidate soil at optimum moisture content (OMC); which is generally about 4% of the soil mass. At present, there is no known method for ensuring proper quantity of water to be mixed in soil. Present spray gun, either used in hand (manually) or by installing at the back of a water tanker etc.; can easily be used to achieve such purpose, very efficiently.
Frequently, construction activities are undertaken, which consume cement. It is a well known fact that cement is a compound which during setting, gains strength due to chemical reactions; and for that purpose, presence of water is very essential. The initial setting time of cement is about 30 minutes, after that it requires regular wetting, to continue with chemical reactions; which may be with the help of a small water filled utensil or a water pipe or a spray gun etc. All these methods have no control over water quantity to be sprayed and may erode to wet cement mortar or concrete structure. Present spray gun, either used in hand (manually) or by installing at the back of a water tanker etc.; can easily be used to achieve such purpose, very efficiently.
With regular use of lavatory blocks, railway wagon, platform, tracks etc.; these become dirty and need water cleaning at regular interval. To clean such public utilities at regular interval, present spray gun may be used very efficiently. Use of present gun, not only will result in convenience to user but also will result in saving of precious water.
