Solution to Tail end problem through Pressure and Flow Control Valve
We are blessed by God, to receive solar radiations, almost throughout the year.
In recent past, it has been observed that we have started utilizing solar radiations for our benefits i.e. to produce electrical energy. For that purpose, we are installing solar panels at the roof top of various buildings, at open lands, lamp post, hoardings, river roof top(s) etc.
This is well known that in India (or in other parts of globe), air quality is quite poor, which contains large quantity of suspended particulate matters (including RSPM); which under influence of gravity, settle down over solar panel and start affecting its efficiency i.e. rate of electricity production. This situation, aggravates further during summer and rainy seasons; during which dusty winds flow.
It has been observed that people are not keen towards cleaning of dirty solar panels, at regular intervals due to which it continues to produce less electrical energy (about 30 to 50%) than designed capacity, and earning less revenue.
Sometimes, people undertake cleaning of solar panels in a very un-scientific way i.e. they use a bucket filled with water and a piece of cloth or a soft brush mounted on a wooden or a plastic log. Everyone will agree, that first time, when we dip dirty cloth or brush into water; it spoils its character for rest of the use time i.e. till the time it is to be used for cleaning purpose. Dirty cloth or brush, continue to leave dirty marks over the surface of a solar panel and defeats the very purpose.
It has been observed, people clean solar panel with the help of a water jet (water spray gun) and a brush etc., which not only develop inconvenience to the person concerned (wetting etc.) but also results in wastage of precious water.
It has also been noticed that people clean large size solar panels with the help of a large size brush fitted with water supply arrangements (at its back); sometimes water has one outlet and sometimes, two. This arrangement, too, does not help in providing water in all parts of a brush and thus results in repeated efforts by a user and wastage of precious water.
We have developed a device, which would help a user; to clean solar panel with the help of a spray gun or to clean large size panels with large size brush, as discussed above.
This technology not only results in fewer efforts by a user but also results in saving of precious water.
